Rich Garnet is used instead of Burnished Bronze in the top-spec Avenir, which has the same color scheme as the rest of the range. Darker colors like Ebony Twilight and Dark Moon Blue, which give the Envision a notably upscale appearance, are our favorites.
Interior
Since Envision merely had a redesign last year, no significant inside modifications are visible. The interior door panels are made of soft-touch material and have a shiny accent that gives them a little extra flair. The dash is stylish, made of soft-touch material, and has triangular air vents above it. Still, the overall design is unimpressive because there is no stitching, making it appear dull. The seats are covered with leatherette or cloth as standard, but the highest Avenir trim has leather seats as an option.
Power adjustment and power lumbar support are available for the front seats. In both rows, there is plenty of head and legroom. The base model comes with a 12-volt accessory power outlet, a rear window defogger, keyless entry, and start, ambient lighting, a 4.2-inch driver information display, floor mats, a manually tilting and telescoping steering wheel, and a steering wheel wrapped in leather.
Engine
One 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automated transmission has replaced the ordinarily aspirated base engine from last year. This engine produces 258 lb-ft of torque and 228 horsepower. Although last year’s model felt a little more effortless, this engine and transmission combo makes for smooth, easy progress when driving around town. Although the Envision never seems sporty, just enough power is available to keep you from feeling uneasy as you merge onto a freeway. The new Envision is harder to move when passing because it has less torque than the turbo-four it replaced.
Even with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, we still adore Buick’s nine-speed automatic transmission. This transmission effectively utilizes the engine’s torque by keeping the rpm low while accelerating. The customers in this market group will like being able to feel the transmission change gears, which we rarely experience. The Envision isn’t the best car for a sporty driver, so the paddle shifters that come with it seem useless.
2024 Buick Envision Date and Price
The new model has a lower starting price than the 2024 Buick Envision, with a starting price of $31,995. The preferred variant of the Envision has a starting MSRP of $31,800, excluding a destination fee of $1,195 in the USA, making it the most cost-effective way to acquire one.
