New 2024 Buick Regal Interior, Changes, Models – Buick has always been known as a high-end brand that sells high-end automobiles. Though most of these cars have been outfitted in work attire, their value hasn’t been diminished. To name a few, the Regal has been redesigned and is now 100% German-made. Still, they haven’t been the best vehicles out there. Is there anything that the Regal Sportback can accomplish that other cars can’t do?
The 2024 Regal is a great option when it comes to pre-owned vehicles. There are two body styles: the Regal TourX wagon and the Regal Sportback hatchback. A powerful engine, a smooth ride, and plenty of storage space are included in both models. There are various cheap plastics in the cabin, and the fuel economy estimates are low. Also, this Buick isn’t as quick as some of its competitors, and it’s expected to have the highest lifetime costs of any midsize car.
New 2024 Buick Regal Redesign
If you ask some people, the new Regal appears more like a European car than an American one, which is either refreshing or somewhat uninteresting, depending on your perspective. We believe it looks pretty handsome when outfitted with the 19-inch aluminum wheels with Technical Gray highlights and the big brushed silver foglight surrounds. The GS’s smooth lines hide a hatchback-style liftgate. A rear spoiler makes the GS’s back end look like a cross between a Lexus IS 350 and a BMW M2.
Exterior features include daytime running lights, automated on/off and delay, automatic Halogen headlights, and automatic on/off and daytime running lights. There are no filament bulbs in the taillights. Heated and auto-dimming mirrors are available on the side mirrors. However, we don’t know if it will be enough to entice younger people to purchase it.
The seats in the 2024 Regal GS are stylish and supportive, with heating, cooling, and massaging capabilities. The flat-bottom steering wheel and metal pedals hint at sportiness, even though the rest of the cabin is mainly modest and some of the materials are mediocre. As with the standard Regal, the rear seat and baggage area are generously proportioned. Seven carry-on suitcases and an additional 12 bags (a total of 19) fit under the back seat when it was folded. We couldn’t do both amounts in the trunks of the TLX and the IS350 sedans.
In addition to a fast 8.0-inch touchscreen and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, every GS comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. A heads-up display, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system are desirable alternatives.
Here, you won’t find any four-cylinder turbocharged engines. The GS is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 310 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 282 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 pm. When cruising, most of the engine’s power is directed to the front wheels, but when necessary, it can be shifted to the back wheels using a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system. The nine-speed automatic transmission and the smooth wave of power from the V6 engine keep the 3.6-liter engine well within its powerband, making you think you’re not going too fast.
The 2024 Buick Regal GS was doomed when paired with a naturally aspirated V6 engine and an AWD powertrain. Rivals like the Chevrolet Malibu and Audi A5 have turbocharged engines that help boost gas mileage, whereas the GS pays the price for its colossal motor. Because of the engine’s peaky nature, the EPA estimates the Regal GS at 19/27/22 mpg city/highway/combined. The Chevy Malibu gets 22/32/26 mpg with its turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and front-wheel-drive layout, while the Buick LaCrosse gets 25/35/29 mpg with its 2.5-liter inline-four in the base configuration. In the 3.6-liter AWD variant, that decreases to 20/29/23 mpg.
2024 Buick Regal Release Date and Price
The Buick Regal GS is the most costly model in the Regal line. The entry-level FWD 2.0T costs $25,370, while the top-of-the-line GS costs $39,070. The GS is $13,700 pricier than the Regal’s base model after subtracting taxes, registration fees, and a $925 destination charge. Buick faces a challenge as it nears the $40,000 level since some competing automobile manufacturers offer better products at the same price. A 5.7-liter V8-powered Dodge Charger R/T costs just $36,395, but the Honda Accord 2.0T Touring 2.0T is just $36,250—it’s undoubtedly the more dynamically capable car despite being powerful, for around $2,820 less.
